Dr. Scott has experience providing psychotherapy to children, families, and adults with a wide variety of presenting challenges. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, developmental concerns, parent-child attachment, grief/loss, and trauma. Dr. Scott additionally has expertise in early childhood mental health (ages 0-5) and working with foster/adopted children. Dr. Scott’s approach to therapy is from a developmental and attachment perspective that considers the unique characteristics and strengths of every child and family. She works collaboratively with her clients to identify areas of growth and uses interventions aimed to improve relationships, positive behaviours, and emotional wellbeing. She has training in art, play, and narrative therapy and often uses these creative approaches in her work.
